NOTEBOOK WITH COVER IN ANTIQUE HEMP

From the collaboration with Officine Amaro “Calendula”, a small notebook made in limited edition was born. On the cover, in ancient Italian hemp, a stylized calendula is represented, printed in monochromatic linocut with recycled PVC matrix (by means of a chalcographic press).
The notebook is completely created by hand: the seam is a Singer stitch made by an industrial machine of the 70s, the trim is obtained through a flywheel paper cutter, the rounded corners is made by a notching machine of the early 1800s. The completion was made with the use of a press by binders shot of the early ‘900.
Past and present, charm and wonder, creativity and craftsmanship meet between the white pages of this little treasure, ready to welcome words and traits of dreams, ideas, projects and adventures.
